Hi I’m Amy, I’ve been with Hot Beans for almost 22 years and during that time I have had lots of opportunity to work across different roles. I’m currently the Operations Lead for the NDC where I am responsible for overseeing all day to day aspects of the NDC including recruitment, scheduling of resources, finance, reporting, communications and the NDC apprenticeship programme. Every day is different with new opportunities and challenges.

James co-founded Hot Beans in 2003 to specialise in ecommerce websitess having worked in the file transfer industry with WAM!NET since 1999. James is responsible for strategy, business development, vendor management, customer service and finance. James is a self confessed web design geek with what some might think an unhealthy knowledge of file transfer technologies and vendors. With his wide network of contacts in the industry, if he doesn’t have the answer he knows where to find it.

Hi, I’m Victor. I work as an onsite software developer in our client delivery and operations business, helping to develop various applications in agile methodology. On my current project, we’re helping pensioners to speed up the processing of claims into their bank account, which is part of an overall digital transformation for the client - it’s very exciting to be part of this huge project!

Joanne joined Hot Beans in July 2012. She operates our in-house bookkeeping department as well as assisting in our VAT and payroll department. Joanne’s interest in accounting began in 2003 when she started studying towards her AAT. Whilst gaining her Accounting Technician qualification she carried out bookkeeping in an accounts practice. Upon completion of AAT she moved into their insolvency department where she also gained various qualifications.

Hello I’m Jane and I live in Whitley Bay with my family. I studied an IT course at Newcastle College, then applied to the Hot Beans Apprenticeship scheme when I was 17 and I’m now in my last year of being an Apprentice. Earlier this year, I was one of 2,000 people to apply to be part of the 5-year Government Campaign for Apprentices and, after a few interviews I was one of lucky 7 people to be selected to share their life story via an ad campaign.
